As a manufacturer of high quality memory modules, Timetec sought to improve its marketing strategies and invited CRE8 to rebrand the company with a new logo and CI guidelines to better communicate their core competence to both industrial companies and end-consumers.
The competition in the global DRAM market is hard. Timetec aims to provide products that stand the test of time and would like to extend the values to its overall branding. CRE8’s top mission was to infuse the company with a new identity that differentiates itself from the competitors.
The logo icon is formed by three elements: the diamond-cut shape represents enduring quality; the overlapped double T’s embodies a connection between customers and products; the arrow lines symbolize speed, momentum, and a forward feeling.
To balance the minimalist style of the typeface, the design team selected golden olive and navy blue colors to give the logo a timeless presence, while building a sense of reliability, professionalism, and modernity. A set of supplementary colors were also chosen to complete the palette.
The logo icon is smartly designed for flexibility. Variations can be easily made by stretching the lines to adapt to different product or packaging surfaces. To support implementation of the new branding system, the designers established a set of clear guidelines to create quality and consistency.
