The first collaboration between CRE8 and Dell dates back over 15 years. This time, CRE8 was asked to help define a design language for a series of ruggedized servers. The goal was to infuse the products with a strong, unified identity and a consistent, optimized user experience. After phases of research, brainstorming and concept development, CRE8 designers helped to define a unique design language that was distinct not only in terms of form, but also function. A series of features were identified that could be scaled across various form factors to create a consistent user experience. As one of the first products to utilize this new design language, Dell PowerEdge XR4000 servers are designed to be deployed in demanding environments where space is constrained, and durability is a key requirement. Server deployment and maintenance are made smart and easy.
